Astronomy and Astrophysics Newsletter

Astronomy and astrophysics are among the most rapidly growing areas in modern science with several seminal discoveries over the past two decades. These have opened up a plethora of enigmas to be understood especially in cosmology, high energy astrophysics, several aspects of stellar evolution, planetary and stellar formation, earliest stars and galaxies, to name a few. The sun and the solar system are also replete with puzzles.

In this Astronomy and Astrophysics Newsletter we hope to cover many recent developments and understanding of the above areas. Both theoretical and observational advances will be highlighted. We have introduced a section "Ask an astronomer" where people can ask doubts regarding astronomy and will be answered in this section. The newsletter will be published every two months and has been circulating successfully among the astrophysics and astrobiology enthusiasts. Looking forward for people to contribute to the newsletter as well.

Those who are interested and would like to read or write articles may contact me through mail : kiren.ov@res.christuniversity.in
